Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Yangon

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by our tour speaking guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. (The official check in time at 14:00 hours). This morning, visit Botathaung Pagoda, located close to Yangon River and said to contain Buddha relics. The tour includes visit the old colonial-style city center with the gilded SULE PAGODA, strand road and Yangon Jetty by Car. And visit Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, is the most popular market (close on every Monday & Public holiday) and where you can buy luxury item, handicrafts, food stuff, clothing, jewelry, fashion and consumer goods.

In the afternoon, visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Then visitKaraweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide - its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. Accommodation at hotel, Yangon

Day 02: Yangon – Bagan

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning transfer to the airport to take domestic flight to Bagan. Arrival Bagan, visit to colorful Naung U Market and visit some of Bagan most famous pagodas, including Shwezigon Pagoda, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas: Gubyaukgyi, a 13th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of scences from the jatakas and Ananda Pagoda, one of the visit to a Lacquerware factory. We will also visitDhammayangyi Patho, a massive later period temple with the finest brickwork in Bagan.

In the afternoon, visit top for a photo of Bagan’s tallest temple; 61 metre-high Thatbyinnyu, known as the 'temple of omniscience' and dating from 1144. Next visit a lacquer craftsman's workshop in nearby Myingaba village, where you’ll learn how this delicate art is made. Sightseeing continues with visits to Manuha Temple, built in the Mon style in 1059; Nanpaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha, and Gubyaukgyi (Myingaba) under the protection of UNESCO and noted for its ancient mural paintings. Day 03: Bagan – Kanpetlet

Breakfast at hotel. Leave Bagan at 7:30am. After 45 minutes’ drive arrive at Chauk, half an hour shopping inChauk market to buy the things what you need for the trip such as drinking water, wet-towels, toilet paper, mask etc; and then across the Ayeyarwaddy River on the bridge and drive to Saw. The scenery today is interesting; however as we do not cross villages, a little bit monotonous. Lunch at very simple local Restaurant. After lunch proceed to Kanpetlet and transfer to hotel. Accommodation at hotel or local guest house, Kanpelet

Day 04: Kanpetlet – Mindat

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning drive to the upper base from where we start to the summit of the Mount Victoria (Natmataung) through the National park. The footpath is a little steep but the reward is the fantastic view once you come out of the forest and reach the altitude where the Rhododendrons are in full bloom. Picnic lunch on the way. After At 3:30 pm come back to the car and drive to Mindat far nearly 3 hours and transfer to hotel.Accommodation at hotel or local guest house, Mindat

Day 05: Mindat – Chin Village

After breakfast, drive to the Chin Villages around Mindat area where you’ll have chance to see the Chin women with tattooed-face and their ways of life far the whole day and come back to the guest-house. Accommodation at hotel or local guest house, Mindat

Day 06: Chin Village – Bagan

After breakfast, drive back to Bagan on the way you’ll pass the small Myanmar typical villages. Arrival Bagan in the late afternoon transfer to hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Bagan

Day 07: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Kalaw (Overland)

Breakfast at hotel. Overland drive to Kalaw. On the way sightseeing for Mt. Popa, it is an extinct volcano which 1518 meters (4981 feet) above sea level, and a day trip from Bagan, set mid lovely hill and forest scenery. The Popa Taungkalat Shrine is home to 37 Mahagiri Nats, or spirits, Satues depicting the Nats are at the base of the shrine. From the top of Taung Kalat, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the ancient city of Bagan.

Late afternoon, continue drive to Kalaw, it is a former colonial British hill station on the western edge of the Shan Plateau in Myanmar. Accommodation at hotel, Kalaw

Day 08: Kalaw – Kyauk Su

This morning, we start our trekking through beautiful pine forest with great views of paddy fields and spotted villages in the valley. It is going to be cold, it is 1400 meters above sea level. After one and half hour walk we arrive to Lutpyin village, a small village of Taungyo tribes. They live on rice and vegetable farms. And then an hour walk to Shapin village, where we are going to have lunch in a village family house of Danu Tribes. Danu tribes are very friendly and hospitable people. After Lunch, continue our journey through thick pine forest on the top of the mountain ridge and suddenly open to the vast grass land on the long mountain range. We pass through Chili farms, Rice plantations, Potato fields and beautiful bright yellow Seasoned fields. It will be two and half hours walk to Kyauk Su village, where we will stay in one of the family home of Pa-O Tribes. Enjoy the sunset by watching people walking back to village with their buffalos and smokes on the top of their roofs. Accommodation at Monastery or Local house

Day 09: Kyauk Su – Nan Daing – Htito – Pattu – Hti Taing

Wake up with the sound of village life and have a delicious breakfast cooked by local traditional chef. Continue our journey for 1:30 hours to Nan Daing village, Pa-O tribes village of over 700 population, where market happen every five days rotating and it is a great opportunity for us to see colorful local market. Have local tea in the market and walk 2 hours to Htito village, have lunch at the old wooden monastery with ancient Buddha statues in a peaceful environment. Rest for some time and trek to Pattu village of Pa-O tribes for 2:30 hours, along the way you will pass through never ending rice terraces and beautiful limestone cliffs with karsts topography. Enjoy the lively rive that flow into the Inle Lake, where village buffalos stay in water on hot noon times. Walk for 30 minutes to Hti Taing Monastery of Pa-O tribes and overnight. Witness the Buddhist monks life in a monastery. Accommodation at Monastery or Local house

Day 10: Htitain – Kyauk Su – Than Daung – Inle Lake

Wake up by the Monks chanting in early morning. Enjoy the peacefulness while having breakfast and get ready for next 4:30 hours walk through villages of Pa-O tribes, mostly descending down to Inle Lake. Enjoy the great view of Inle Lake from top of the mountains. Arrive to Than Daung village and have lunch and take a relaxing boat ride along the river and into the big lake. Arrive to hotel and ready for a good rest. Accommodation at hotel, Inle Lake

Day 11: Inle Lake

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, visit to one of the 5 days rotating markets (on market day only). excursion by boat on picturesque Inle Lake we see the famous leg rowers, the typical floating gardens where fruit and vegetables are grown, local methods of fishing and village life. Then we visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State and stopping to see some traditional handicrafts - silk weaving on wooden handlooms inInpawkon village, a cheroot making and other cottage industries. Afterward, proceed by boat to visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake where inside its large wooden meditation hall.

Day 12: Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon – Departure

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, transfer by boat and car to Heho Airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Arrival Yangon, connect to Yangon International Airport for your afternoon or evening departure flight.
